On February 5, 2026, the Saigon Ward Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision to receive 16 grassroots Party organizations, including the Petrolimex Saigon Party Committee, into its direct supervision.
The conference was attended by Dang Tran Hieu – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Petrolimex Party Committee; Vo Van Tan – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Petrolimex Saigon; Pham Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Petrolimex Saigon; along with members of the Executive Committee of the Company’s Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
The 16 Party organizations transferred to the Saigon Ward Party Committee include 12 grassroots Party Committees and 04 grassroots Party Cells, with a total of 1,897 Party members under 10 Party Committees of state-owned groups, corporations, and commercial banks affiliated with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance and the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam under the Party Committee of the Government.
After the transfer, the Saigon Ward Party Committee now oversees more than 11,000 Party members, including 534 Party members belonging to the Petrolimex Saigon Party Committee.
