Over two days, November 19-20, a training program titled "Fuel Sampling Methods" was conducted at the Nha Be Oil Terminal for 35 employees of Petrolimex Saigon. The program was led by experts from Quality Assurance and Testing Centre 2 (Quatest 2).
This was the first professional training course on fuel sampling methods, aimed at equipping technical staff, Gas station managers/deputy managers from the company office, Nha Be Oil Terminal, and Saigon Petroleum branches with essential knowledge and skills.
In addition to providing an overview of legal documents related to petroleum and fuel sampling activities, as well as reinforcing key terminology and definitions in the field, the instructor offered detailed guidance on the steps involved in fuel sampling. Specific scenarios were presented for discussion and hands-on practice. At the end of the training program, participants completed two assessments—one theoretical and one practical—and were awarded certificates upon successful completion.
Fuel sampling is an essential process to obtain representative quality samples of a fuel batch. To ensure accurate sampling in compliance with regulations, sampling personnel must be trained to preserve the sample's original condition from the moment it is collected until it is delivered to the laboratory.
