
May 5, 2023, the delegation of the Steering Committee for the implementation evaluation of Resolution 41-NQ/TW dated July 23, 2015, by the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the strategic development orientation of Vietnam's petroleum industry until 2025, vision to 2035 (Resolution 41-NQ/TW), led by Comrade Nguyen Duc Hien - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission and Permanent Member of the Steering Committee, visited and worked with Petrolimex Saigon at the Nha Be Oil Terminal.


Accompanying Comrade Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, were Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Trung - Deputy Director of the Industrial Department of the Central Economic Commission, Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director of the Industrial Department of the Central Economic Commission, Comrade Ngo Thuy Quynh - Deputy Director of the Oil and Coal Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the project's construction team secretaries.
Welcoming the working delegation, on behalf of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), was Comrade Nguyen Van Su - Deputy General Director of the Group, and on behalf of Petrolimex Saigon, was Comrade Vo Van Tan - Chairman of the Company, Comrade Pham Anh Tuan - Director of the Company, along with the company's leadership and heads of departments. Representing the affiliated units of Petrolimex Saigon were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Director of the Saigon Petroleum Branch, Mr. Bui Cong Minh - Director of the Nha Be Oil Terminal, and key personnel of the terminal.

During the working session, both sides worked urgently and focused on the most essential issues with the highest quality. The working delegation listened to the report from Petrolimex Saigon summarizing the results of ensuring the national fuel supply and reserves, as well as several proposed recommendations to further enhance the efficiency of the assigned tasks.
On behalf of the delegation, Comrade Nguyen Duc Hien - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission and Permanent Member of the Steering Committee - evaluated Resolution 41-NQ/TW and stated that the recommendations and proposals from the meeting would be acknowledged, and Petrolimex was requested to provide additional information to clarify these recommendations.
Additionally, during this occasion, the working delegation conducted site visits and surveys to observe the current status of technical infrastructure and gain practical insights into the import, export, and storage of petroleum products at the Nha Be Oil Depot.
