On behalf of Petrolimex Saigon leaders, Mr. Dang Duy Quan – Deputy Director reported to the delegation about the modern petroleum measuring equipment and infrastructure which were invested, maintained and inspected regularly; introduced the management apparatus of petroleum technical sector to be unified from Petrolimex Group to units; introduced and visited The modern Central Laboratory has been assessed in accordance with general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories following ISO/IEC 17025 Standard and has been accredited by VILAS; together with quality management system following ISO 9001:2008 Standard has been applying widely in the whole company: Affirming that Petrolimex Saigon always ensured accuracy of the petroleum quantity and quality in each stage of import – export – storage and circulation process in the market.

On behalf of delegation, Deputy Minister Tran Viet Thanh appreciated the effort of investment, the technical modernization of petroleum; praised to the sense of responsibility and the petroleum quality management system of Petrolimex Saigon. At the same time, suggested Petrolimex Saigon actively propose initiatives with the State Agencies about synchronous and long-term solutions to establish the petroleum quality management system closely, applied to the whole society in order to ensuring clearly about accountabilities, rights and interests of the parties, from source businesses to general agencies, agencies and consumers. Deputy Minister also affirmed that Science and Technology Ministry and Trade and Industry Ministry would coordinate to establish the petroleum technology and trade policies synchronously; would review and adjust the application of petroleum quality management system for general agencies, agencies involved distribution network in the martket; revised systems of legal documents to have a connection with the source businesses had sufficient authorities and could execute the responsibilities for controlling petroleum quality to the final consumers.
