On the morning of July 18, 2025, Saigon Petroleum Company (Petrolimex Saigon) inaugurated and officially opened Petrolimex – Petrol Station No. 85, located at 1314 Provincial Road 8, Hamlet 12, Phu Hoa Dong Commune, Ho Chi Minh City. This is a meaningful project as Petrolimex Saigon approaches its 50th anniversary (September 17, 1975 – September 17, 2025).
In attendance at the inauguration ceremony were Company Director Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Directors Mr. Trinh Quoc Viet and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, along with many heads of departments and centers.
Petrol station no.85 has undergone infrastructure renovation and upgrades, with investments in modern equipment and brand identity systems that meet Petrolimex’s network-wide standards. Covering a total area of 525 square meters with a 24-meter-wide frontage, the station is equipped with 2 steel tanks, 4 Tatsuno fuel dispensers from Japan, integration with the Egas management software, an electronic invoicing system, 24/7 CCTV monitoring, standard fire protection systems, and environmental safety measures. The station is well-positioned to meet fuel demands from both individual and business customers.
Strategically located on Provincial Road 8, which connects Ho Chi Minh City and the former Binh Duong province, Petrol station no. 85 enjoys high traffic flow. The station provides a spacious and safe service area, suitable for all types of vehicles refueling. In addition to its two main products—RON 95-V gasoline and DO 0.05S-II diesel—the station also offers a range of Petrolimex’s professional products and services such as lubricants, insurance, and Jana laundry detergent. In the near future, it will begin selling biofuels in accordance with the Government’s green energy policy roadmap.
With this opening, Petrolimex Saigon now operates 10 retail fuel stations in the area.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Company Director Mr. Pham Anh Tuan emphasized the significance of this project as Petrolimex Saigon celebrates its 50th anniversary. Benefiting from its prime location, PETROL STATION NO. 85 will serve as an ideal refueling stop in the area, meeting customer and consumer demands while contributing to market stability and local socio-economic growth.
To celebrate the occasion, petrol station no. 85 organized a "Sales Festival," offering free labor for lubricant oil changes and distributing valuable gifts to express appreciation to customers supporting the store on its opening day.
