From November 20 to 28, 2025, Petrolimex Saigon (Petrolimex Saigon Co., Ltd.) is implementing infrastructure and conducting training for the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

This project is part of a nationwide initiative by Petrolimex to build and apply a Laboratory Information Management System, in collaboration with the Corporation for Telecommunications and Informatics (CTIN).

Accordingly, Petrolimex Saigon is being equipped with workstations, tablets, QR scanners, LAN-to-COM converters, accessories for connecting with lab instruments, software installation, and network configuration to link lab devices with the centralized LIMS server hosted by Petrolimex.
Once the installation phase is completed, company leadership, technical staff, and lab personnel — as end users — will participate in training sessions covering LIMS software operation, system workflows, and hands-on practice with system modules. The training is expected to take place online at Petrolimex Saigon headquarters from December 2 to 4, 2025.

The LIMS system is being implemented across 17 laboratories within the Petrolimex network. Once in use, it will enable comprehensive management of lab operations in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards — including system management and configuration, test sample tracking, personnel and competency management, training, resource and quality management, and automated reporting.

Deputy Director Đào Văn Hùng emphasized that this is a key project of the Corporation, marking a milestone in the digital transformation journey. It embodies the dedication of many leaders and employees. As a pioneer unit, Petrolimex Saigon is committed to accompanying Petrolimex and CTIN to ensure swift deployment and successful operation of the LIMS system, generating tangible value for the business.
