
Ho Chi Minh City, on November 22nd 2013. At the 1st Floor Meeting Hall - Petrolimex Saigon, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) held the 2nd communication conference on service stations management software project (EGAS).
Attending the conference were Petrolimex Director General Tran Van Thinh; Vice Director General, EGAS Project Director Tran Ngoc Nam along with leaders and related specialists of Petrolimex member companies.

With the achieved results in EGAS deployment and application in the first stage at Retail Petroleum Stations, Petrolimex Vice Director General, EGAS Project Director Tran Ngoc Nam stated that EGAS has met the requirements such as standardizing and unifying business management processes, integrating and working well with the automation system. EGAS is enough condition and capacity to apply for all Petrolimex Retail Petroleum Stations. The application of EGAS to manage Retail Petroleum Stations is one of the central tasks in the development strategy of Petrolimex.

Petrolimex Information Technology & Telecommunication Joint Stock Company (PIACOM) has built EGAS following Petrolimex’s requirements. EGAS is the solution for retail petroleum station management, including: management software, the integration of automation with three contents: the reception of signals from pumps, automatic tank gauging, and integrating with payment by cards. EGAS is designed in the form of data collection and on a broad band scope (WAN, Internet). EGAS is the most advanced solution nowadays, having the ability to meet the multi-level management requirements: Group; companies; branches/enterprises and stations, responding promptly petroleum management requirements according to the new regulation.
