On the morning of January 7, 2026, Kien Giang Petroleum Company Limited (the Company / Petrolimex Kien Giang) solemnly held the inauguration ceremony and officially put into operation Petrolimex – Filling Station No. 47. This is a significant event, marking the beginning of a series of practical activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (January 12, 1956 – January 12, 2026), and launching an emulation movement toward the 15th anniversary of Petrolimex Kien Giang (September 12, 2011 – September 12, 2026).
Attending and presiding over the ceremony were Mr. Dang Hong Toan, Chairman of the Members’ Council; Mr. Nguyen Phong Thien, General Director; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Luyen, Deputy General Director. Also present were leaders of the Company’s functional departments, petroleum depot managers, heads of filling stations in the Rach Gia area, and all officers and employees of Filling Station No. 47.
In his speech at the ceremony, General Director Nguyen Phong Thien emphasized that bringing Filling Station No. 47 into operation at the very beginning of 2026 carries special significance. In just five days, the entire petroleum sector will jointly commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (January 12, 1956 – January 12, 2026).
Filling Station No. 47 is not only a new business outlet but also a testament to the continuous growth of the Petrolimex retail system, contributing to ensuring energy security and serving local socio-economic development, in line with the core values that the Group has diligently built over the past seven decades.
This inauguration also serves as the official launch of a vibrant emulation movement throughout the Company, heading toward the 15th anniversary of Petrolimex Kien Giang (September 12, 2011 – September 12, 2026).
