On May 13, 2026, Petrolimex Sai Gon organized the Conference for Petroleum Retail Franchisees on the implementation of the conversion to E10 biofuel gasoline. Chairman of the Company Mr. Vo Van Tan chaired the conference, listened to existing issues, and together with the departments/divisions/centers answered customers’ questions.
The conference was attended by the Company’s Board of Management, leaders of departments/divisions/professional centers, and petroleum retail franchisees (franchisees).
Sharing information at the conference, Chairman of the Company Vo Van Tan affirmed that Nha Be Petroleum Terminal (under Petrolimex Sai Gon) has been invested with facilities and blending capacity for E10 gasoline of up to 10,000 m³/day. Together with the fact that the National Commission for Standards, Metrology and Quality has granted Petrolimex the Certificate of Registration for Petroleum Blending Facility No. 07/GCN-TĐC dated May 12, 2026, with the blending facility being Petrolimex Sai Gon Co., Ltd. and the blended petroleum product being E10 RON95-V gasoline meeting Level 5 standards, the Company is confident in supplying sufficient volumes and ensuring the quality of E10 gasoline to franchisees as well as throughout the entire system of directly operated petrol stations.
However, in order for the implementation of the E10 biofuel gasoline conversion by franchisees to proceed smoothly, franchisees are required to proactively comply with the Government’s policy. On the side of Petrolimex Sai Gon, the Company has established five support teams ready to provide timely assistance and direct consultation to customers regarding technical work such as cleaning storage tanks and pipelines, transportation, inspection of equipment compatible with E10 gasoline business operations, etc. The support teams will study each enterprise individually in order to provide proper consultation and appropriate conversion guidance based on the specific characteristics of each customer.
Also at the conference, leaders of the departments/divisions/centers answered questions from franchisees and affirmed that they would accompany and provide consultation in handling technical issues, helping the conversion to E10 gasoline business operations proceed smoothly.
