Launch of the Executive Committee and New Chairman of the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union for the 2025–2030 Term

On November 7, 2025, the Congress of the Trade Union Delegates of Petrolimex Saigon Co., Ltd. for the 2025–2030 term was successfully held. The newly elected Executive Committee of the Trade Union was introduced to the employees, with Deputy Director Trần Đình Tuyết assuming the position of Chairman of the Trade Union.

Overview of the Delegate Congress of the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union for the 2025–2030 Term

The Congress was attended and guided by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son – Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade Workers, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), and Chairman of the Petrolimex Trade Union.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son – Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade Workers, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), and Chairman of the Petrolimex Trade Union acknowledged and praised the contributions of the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union organization.

On the side of Petrolimex Saigon, attendees included Mr. Vo Van Tan – Member of the Party Committee of Petrolimex, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the Company; Mr. Pham Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of the Company; along with the Board of Directors of the Company – Petrolimex Vung Tau Branch – Petrolimex Binh Duong Branch – Nha Be Petroleum Terminal and 140 delegates representing 2,055 union members at various levels.

Mr. Vo Van Tan affirmed his commitment to creating the most favorable conditions for the Company's Trade Union to operate effectively in the new development phase.

The Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union currently consists of three grassroots trade unions: Nha Be Petroleum Terminal, Petrolimex Vung Tau Branch, and Petrolimex Binh Duong Branch.

The activity summary report for the 2023–2025 period highlighted that the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union had launched numerous emulation movements aimed at the motto:
"Creative labor – excellent business – effective management – achieving the highest socio-economic-political efficiency – fulfilling annual goals and plans."

The Trade Union actively coordinated with the administration to develop collective labor agreements and strictly implemented the resolutions from annual Employee Conferences.
100% of employees signed labor contracts, had stable jobs, and were fully covered by insurance policies. Employee incomes increased year over year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Hoa – Member of the Standing Committee of the Petrolimex Trade Union announced the personnel decision for the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee of the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union (Term XVI – 2025–2030), along with the list of delegates to attend the 7th Congress of the Petrolimex Trade Union (2025–2030).

The Trade Union paid close attention to the physical and mental well-being of employees, especially during Lunar New Year, Workers’ Month, by providing visits, encouragement, and support to union members in difficult circumstances.

Cultural, sports, and excursion activities were regularly organized and enthusiastically supported by employees. Petrolimex Saigon won numerous awards at the Southeastern Petrolimex Employee Sports Festival (2023–2024) and the National Final of the Petrolimex Employee Sports Festival commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Group (2025), as well as the Special Prize in the “Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Officer” contest.

In addition to supporting workers, the Company’s Trade Union also carried out many social welfare programs such as "Gratitude repayment," "Poverty alleviation," "Trade Union Shelter", and frequently contributed to the Fund for the Poor of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City and other localities, averaging over 4 billion VND per year.

Looking ahead to the 2025–2030 term, the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union will continue to accompany and mobilize employees to jointly achieve the company's production and business targets with a spirit of initiative, creativity, and responsibility.

The Trade Union will: Enforce the collective labor agreement for the benefit of employees; Grow its membership and recommend outstanding members to the Party; Effectively organize activities for worker welfare, culture, arts, sports, entertainment; Execute “Workers’ Month” and patriotic emulation movements; Conduct meaningful humanitarian social welfare activities

Key solutions include: Protecting legal and legitimate rights of employees; Strengthening benefits for union members; Promoting awareness and engagement in emulation movements for business and patriotic efforts.

During the Congress, four presentations were delivered, sharing initiatives and solutions to enhance Trade Union activities and connect employees, while proposing directions suited to the new context.

Also at the Congress, the Petrolimex Trade Union officially announced: Executive Committee & Inspection Committee for Term XVI (2025–2030); Delegates attending the 7th Petrolimex Trade Union Congress (2025–2030).

Deputy Director Tran Dinh Tuyet (center), newly appointed Chairman of the Trade Union, on behalf of the Executive Committee, pledged to fulfill the assigned duties.

He emphasized the commitment to: Promote solidarity traditions; Strictly implement directives and resolutions of the Party and the Congress; Contribute to sustainable corporate development; Ensure the Trade Union excellently fulfills its mission.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director (white shirt), and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Hoa – Member of the Standing Committee of the Petrolimex Trade Union (6th from right), presented gifts to outgoing members of the Executive Committee for the 2023–2025 term.

Chairman Vo Van Tan reaffirmed full support for the effective operation of the new Trade Union in the upcoming development stage.

In his address, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son recognized and praised the efforts of the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union and its affiliates, not only in taking care of employees’ lives but also in: Conducting effective dialogue; Listening to employees; Building a united and cohesive team; Fulfilling all assigned tasks.

With the motto: "Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development", the Petrolimex Saigon Trade Union for the 2025–2030 term is determined to carry forward the tradition of dynamism, creativity, adaptability, and resilience, together with employees, stepping firmly into the Green Era – Sustainable Development.
