The enterprises honored at the ceremony were those that complied well with customs regulations and contributed significantly to the city’s and the Customs sector’s revenue. This year, 37 associations and outstanding enterprises were recognized.

Among them, petroleum is a special commodity, and each year Petrolimex carries out import and temporary import for re-export procedures at the Saigon Port Area 3 Customs Branch with a relatively large volume. The total import tax paid reached nearly VND 5,819 billion.

Despite the large volume and multiple customs clearance steps involved, with the guidance, support, and coordination of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department in general and the Saigon Port Area 3 Customs Branch in particular, Petrolimex's difficulties and issues were promptly resolved.

Recognizing and highly appreciating the partnership of the business community, especially the 37 associations and outstanding enterprises honored today, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department Mr. Do Thanh Quang stated that 2024 marks the ninth year that the department has implemented the Customs-Business Partnership Development Plan. The department has proactively developed and implemented numerous practical and effective action programs and plans to promote this partnership under the motto:
"Customer and business satisfaction is the benchmark for all Customs activities."
