On the morning of January 22, 2025, Petrolimex Saigon held the Petrolimex Saigon Quality Awards Ceremony for the second half of 2024. Three outstanding individuals were honored in the categories of Productivity – Safety – Environment.
Deputy Party Secretary and Company Director Pham Anh Tuan (in blue shirt) presented the awards, shared the joy of the recipients, and affirmed that these are truly the most outstanding individuals of the last six months of 2024.
Specifically:
The Productivity Award went to Mr. Huynh Quoc Dung – Deputy Head of the Port Warehouse Dispatch Department (Nha Be Oil Terminal). In his role, Mr. Dung effectively managed the dispatching and import-export operations at the general warehouse, ensuring safety and adherence to schedule. In 2024, the warehouse reached a record volume of over 6.4 million m³/tons; the average ship waiting time was 5.8 hours per ship, lower than the standard, and he ensured stable supply across three storage facilities.
The Safety Award was granted to Mr. Pham Minh Quan – Manager of Petrol Station No. 39 (District 4). With a sales volume of approximately 2,000 m³/month, Mr. Quan successfully operated Station No. 39 while ensuring fire safety, security, and the safety of people and assets.
The Environment Award was presented to Ms. Trinh Huyen Ngoc – Specialist from the Technical and Environmental Safety Department. In addition to fulfilling her assigned duties, Ms. Ngoc worked with a consulting unit to complete the design for the wastewater collection and treatment system for Warehouse B (Nha Be Oil Terminal), and also implemented the digital management system for environmental records across 80 petrol stations, enabling centralized monitoring at the company level.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Deputy Party Secretary and Company Director Pham Anh Tuan expressed his joy with the recipients and affirmed: “Among the nine nominations for the three awards, the Company’s Emulation and Commendation Council worked with great diligence, closely following the set criteria to carefully select the most deserving individuals.”
The Petrolimex Saigon Quality Award is presented twice a year to recognize and honor outstanding individuals who make significant contributions to the company's quality efforts, thereby motivating employees to strive and dedicate themselves further.
